Charging ??

I just got my first kit today! Yay!

One question (at least for now!) I put my battery on the charger the led light blinked and the light on the charger was green, then it turned red.
What does this mean? Is it already charged to the max? Both batteries obviously have some charge since they work. I'm assuming you screw the battery into the charger?

So can anyone tell me how these work and what the lights mean.

It will be green initially while the charger is detecting the state of the battery, red while charging, then changes back to green once it's charged.

There are a few different kinds of chargers check out this guide for the differences. They require the battery to screw in except the uncorded old style usb charger.
