So I tried Charlie's Custard and it was fantastic - I tasted eggy custard and authentic pie crust, and it was a strong, truly food-like flavor at that.

I them tried a much fresher bottle and it was awful - it was terribly bland and stale tasting, almost like a sickly dough.

I also tried the Pistachio RY4 and got nothing from it but a slightly salty taste with a hint of authentic pistachio - no RY4 in the least.

Tripoli was next on the list, and it was good, but the fig, which was good, simply had the tiniest amount of tobacco to compliment it - it would have been an ADV if it had about %75 more tobacco and %20 less fig.

I'm starting to feel as though their mixes can vary, or that the flavors are only suited for dripping. So far, the only flavor that had tasted "right" in the Subtank was the original bottle of Custard.

I ordered Siren's Song to give Charlie one more chance, but if that doesn't work out, does anyone know of any professional higher-VG companies that have Charlie-level prices?

And I really prefer the company to have a professional appearance. I have tried many home-brew type of liquids where the maker is practically using Masking Tape as a label and drawing the labels by hand with a magic marker and while some have been very good, most of these dark-colored, sugary home brews don't have the same touch.

Not to mention, I like to show off my gear in order to convert folks, and they tend to really scour at a bottle that looks like homemade sludge (even if it's good!)

It probably needs to age a bit. I'd take the lid off for a couple of hours, then re-cap it and shake the daylights out of it. Stick it on a shelf and give it a shake every day or so for a week or two. Then try it again. I picked up some Absolute Creme Brulee from Nicoticket and only let it sit on a shelf for two months. When I finally opened it (for the first time), all I could taste was a strong tobacco flavor. I've since let it air a few times and shaken it frequently. It's just now starting to smell like a nice custard with just a hint of tobacco.

I've had about 350+ mils of the custard so far and I've loved it each time. Hmm so strange! Blue bay and raspberry ripple ice cream are fantastic too. I'd like Sollers Point except for the butterscotch or some similar note doesn't agree with me. I have a bottle of tripoli but have yet to sample it. Commodore Pearry was my least favorite of those I tried.

Well, right now I literally have no other juice to vape, so I really have to vape whatever I get as soon as it comes in.

Truly though, pie crust is a very strong flavor. You know if its there. I think it was absolutely missing from my recent bottle of the custard. In the first bottle, the spices and crust were pretty strong, just the way I like it, very eggy too.

I guess I'll tough it out and stick with Charlie for now. $30 wasted in unenjoyment is not a small penny, but I *think* they're going to send me a few free flavors to make up for it, which will make me one happy camper.

I can't complain much... their prices are fantastic, almost the best on the net, but it seems like the batches vary. I do see a lot of complaints about that in the reviews. I wish badly for the original custard flavor I first vaped though, the first bottle was seriously the best custard I've ever had.

Can't say I recommend them yet. If they come through for me, and continue to down the road, I'll stick with them for life, but that recent bottle of custard was something they shouldn't have even put out. I have a feeling they rushed it, they admitted it was selling faster than they could keep up. But I just don't have $12 to throw around like that.

They seem to be good people though. They've done me right so far, and that's what matters, because I'm sure every company is going to fudge up a bit sometime - and I'm sure individual employees are going to make batches that suit their own palates!

Everyone I've known has had fantastic customer service from them. If you contacted them I'm sure they will set you straight! I do know what you mean about the pie crust but I fee like it fades after time. I taste it less once I get to the bottom of my 120ml. I'm on that right now and it is divine!

Tripoli requires a 24/48 hr cap off FOOB or it's just not vapable..Unlike the samples,..when you order in 120ml bottles you have to air those out and also long steep,..Mine has been steeping 5 weeks now and is still not up to par with the sample..It's getting there though....New flavors and new prices as well..Still not bad at 120ml for $44.99 and Admirals Reserves $54.99! ;)

I'm going ahead and getting the best ones a little at a time due to the long steeping..I've already got one HHV I have to wait on 3 months..I'm just as impatient as you are with steeping Little Buddy Jens. :p

Don't know how new to vaping you are..Your join date for ECF is May of this year..I would suggest if you want premium juice for you to venture out some..There will be many suggestions but I can tell you most of them will require steeping. Maybe not as long as some of the uber-steepers like Heathers Heavenly Vapes,..(a very good one for the money as well) or Fresh Out Of Box ones like The Plume Room and Ahlusion e-liquids. Nicoticket has a couple I like FOOB as well. ACB and Virus...You can't go wrong with TPR though as what is in their descriptions are spot on..The price however is a bit high but about right for premium eliquids.

Yeap, Charlie Noble came through with the free samples! I bought Siren's Song, and they included Blue Bay and Treasure Island!

Trying the Siren's Song, I'm getting a very light flavor of Strawberry Milk. But it's just too light on the Subtank. I believe it'd even be too light on the average build.

I hope their mixes simply haven't changed to a lighter formula. The only strong juice I had from them is the January-made Custard. The rest have been very light.

It's not a bad flavor though. But it just needs more flavoring. What's there is quite tasty, but I just don't get hooked on very light flavors!

I wish this flavor was so much stronger because Charlie Noble have fantastic flavorings. I don't know where they get them from, but Noble's flavors just taste so accurate. You still get a slight sense that they're a budget brand, a bit like eating off brand cereal as opposed to the main brand, but the big problem is that it seems these flavors are just very, very light.

Siren's Song is delicious, it's just way too light! What's there though, it's like drinking Strawberry Milk. What you can taste is an obvious use of great flavoring!

So I now tried the Treasure Island and Blue Bay...

The Treasure Island is not too good. I taste what they're trying for, but it comes together and somehow tastes like pickles. It has the weirdest pickle juice note.

The Blue Bay is not bad, but it reminds me more of a body wash scent than a flavor. I've had a good pomegrante lemon flavor before, and this just isn't it. It's more like the scent of a soap.

So far, the juices I'd recommend from Noble, at best, are Charlie's Custard, Siren's Song, and Tripoli. Would not recommend Treasure Island, Blue Bay, or Pistachio RY4.
