I don't even know what low res means in a cartomizer, lol. I'm newish to this. I'm frustrated because my SafeCig traditional flavor cartomizers just don't have a taste I like. I see they have a bunch of new flavors out, but I don't want to try a million different cartomizers I don't like. I'm still smoking reg cigs because I can't find something thats working for me! If I'm going to quit smoking cigs, I'm going to need a flavor I like damnit! I will check into that starter kit. Thank you.

Madvapes has the q510 disposable for 10 dollars. It comes with three filled cartriges an atomizer and a charger. I can speak from experience that the battery lasts a super long time as far as recharging it goes. In fact I have two sitting unused in a drawer but each were recharged over 30x. They also sell the regular batteries for about 10 bucks

low res = low resistance, generally 2 ohms or lower. A standard 510 cartomizer would likely be about 2.5 ohms, with some a shade higher. The low resistance cartomizers take too much current to operate on a really small battery.

Vapor-pure also has a really good price on Riva starter kits right now, $26. Those have a 510 connector, but are 750 mAh batteries, larger, able to work with low resistance cartomizers as well as normal (or standard) resistance (SR).

Good luck!

Low res on a riva or other large battery 510 connector pv is good for lots of warmth, vapor, flavor.

I only use higher power things, rarely want a "cool" vape. If I want cool, I can switch to a higher resistance cartomizer or, in my case, adjust the voltage on my mod.

If you are leaning that way, the vapor pure riva kit, which includes some eliquid, is a very solid price.

The standard 510 batteries, while fine if you really have to have cig size, just don't have enough kick for me.

Ok, I think I'm going to start off with the $10 kit... I like manual batteries =P Also, if I screw something up I'm not out too much money. I have some empty catridges too that was mistakenly sent to me in an order, so I can at least use them. Eventually I'll figure this all out right? I really didn't think it would be so difficult! Thanks a lot for the help, I really do appreciate it!
