Thanks for the heads up about FastTech. I need it to arrive by the 29th. I don't smoke now or use nicotine except on long drives, which I usually do about once a year. But, when I do use nicotine, I like a lot. I was going to use Copenhagen long cut for the drive, but that's not going to work because it will aggravate a stomach issue I have. I like the extreme buzz from dip, so I would like the e-cig to provide a comparable effect.

I was thinking about trying VG this time, I never used that when I vaped before. I am planning to get 24mg or 30mg juice.
If you go that high you'll likely over nic really quickly... Dizziness, headache, not fun. 12mg would probably be fine, but if you want to go nuts, hedge your bets and get a bottle of zero nic to cut it down if need be....

I really think you should Check out the Vape dojo. They have a website but i cannot post links yet so just google their name and you will find it. their site is just their name after all, when its in stock you can get a Kanger 650Mah EGO battery and an Bottom coil Kanger evod, with that rather cool vape your looking for. All for $15. unfortunately they are very popular so happen to be out of stock ATM, however they do have other options in your price range. And BTW there juice options are vast and very inexpensive: $4.99 for 15ml, $9.99 for 30ml, and only $14.99 for 50ml! idk about everyone else but i think thats a pretty sweet deal for juices made locally in VA.and other store locations in MD. They have an online store with $2 shipping to U.S, for me i get my products no more than 2 days after i order! thats sweet for me but depending on where you live time will take accordingly.

In my opinion here is the set up i would get if i were in your shoes -

Tank options -

Kanger Evod 2 BDC: $6.99
Currently out of stock, however they do also have a starter kit Instock
Containing:
Two "new" Kanger Evod Battery's - (Which i enjoy the feel and looks of)
2 Kanger Evod 2 tanks - Glass inner walls so you can use "tank cracker juices", those acidic juices, and not have to worry about cracking or plastic tastes.
7 Dual Coils for the Evod 2 Tanks (2 of which come inside the tanks)
1 Ego usb Charger
1Usb wall adapter - even tho not needed for road trip it may come in handy eventually
This a pretty damn good dealin my eyes!
This starter kit is currently in stock and contains all you would need for your trip except the juice and a car adapter for your usb charger
All of this cost $39.99 plus tax, $2 shipping and whatever juice you would want to get.

Kanger Evod Bottom Coil: $5.99 - Instock

Battery options -

Kanger Evod 650Mah Battery:$11.99 - Instock
Of course you would probably need a USB Ego charger: $3.99

If i were you i would buy two 650 Mah batterys so you could vape one and charge the other, honestly if you could find a passthru for a decent price with reasonable shipping times then you would be better off. but since you are on a bit of a time constraint i really suggest the vape dojo if your on the east coast.

Sorry for rambling about that starter kit, i know its out of your price range but if you would be willing to spend the extra $10 for you hardware, and then $10 on juice you got yourself a pretty decent vape setup good for your road trip for about $50, and Kanger products are made rather well so im almost positive they would be able to stick around until your next road trip a year or two from now.

Hope this helps you, or anyone looking for a setup, took some time to write up

I ended up ordering the battery and atomizer from cignot that I linked to above. What do you think?

That will probably be good enough. you may find 2.2 is a bit high ohms for that battery.. most heads perform best around 8watts imo..
2.2watts with the 3.3v battery you got will only be operating at about 5w. if you run it in 'unregulated' mode, assuming it will put out 4.2 on a full charge thats about 8w, so you may try that.

I wrote this earlier, but posted it to the wrong thread.. OOPS!!!

here is a vv usb passthrough.. you will need a usb port in your car to run it (or buy one of those cigarette lighter usb chargers for a phone)
this is $9 at discountvapers.com
USB Variable Voltage Mini Passthrough - Chrome
vv lets you adjust the power (stands for variable voltage). Then you have a bit more customization about how much power you are putting to your coil - for a cooler/warmer vape - also juice performs differently at different voltages - better flavor/vapor/throathit at different voltages depending on the coil and juice.

You could grab one of these clearomizers from them and that would still leave room in your $30 budget for juice.
$3 ce4 (not great, but ok)
CE4 Clearomizer
$7 evod (started on these, they were good for me, but some people dont like the draw on them - to restricted)
Kanger eVod bottom coil clearomizer - Black
$13 ProTank3 Mini (no personal experience with these, but people like them)
Kanger Mini ProTank 3 - NEW

the ce4 is a disposable tank - you throw out the tank when the coil dies.
The EVOD and PT3 take replacement heads, which you should pick up a few as some ship as duds, and its always good to have backups if you fry a head.

heads:
pt3 - kanger bdc heads 2.0 ohms - 5pack $8
Kanger ProTank 3 & Aerotank - Dual Coils - 5 Pack 2.0ohms
evod - kanger bcc heads 2.2 ohms - 5pack $6
Kanger ProTank & Evod Coil Replacement **5 Pack - 2.2 ohms

Okay, I will try that. If it doesn't work well, is there a battery you would recommend for use with the aerotank?
