I make DIY juice, and I'm looking for something that works a little better for testing than my mini protank - I don't want to have to use 1-2ml to test, so I'm thinking about a dripper. Since it would only be used for trying them out, I don't want to drop a ton of money on it. I'd also like it to be relatively easy to build on... I'm not looking to get into crazy advanced coils on this one. Does anyone have an inexpensive rda (clones are fine) that they like and can recommend?

Try an IGO-S. Simple, cheap, easy to build, and a very small chamber for improved flavor. Dual coil RDA's like the IGO-W are all the rage these days, they are better for all-out performance at high wattage, but you can't beat a small single-coil design for taste testing. I'd trade my IGO-L for an S in a heartbeat, although it still can be made to work quite well. My W isn't a fair comparison in terms of cloud chucking performance, but that is why I have it.

Smok Mini RDA. It's around $5 to $10 and super easy to build on. Heck you could buy a couple to rotate juice tasting. It was my first RDA 6 months ago and I'm still using it (as well as a Trident V2 clone and a Patriot clone).

SMOKTech MINI RDA Atomizer

Fasttech sells them for about $5. $4.77 RDA Mini Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer (1.0mL) - 2.4
Second these! I have a couple. Super easy to build, and the top cap is a soft aluminum so it's easy to drill out.

Igo-L.

It's one of the more highly underrated pieces of vape kit there is. Drill out the top cap to 1/16" (if you're going for flavor and not clouds, a smaller hole will be better - the stock hole is little more than a pin .....). With that build the coil to about .8Ω-1Ω and you'll have a flavor machine.

Has anyone tried the Smok dripper RDA? My IGO L arrived yesterday and it's my very first rebuildable anything, but man trying to wrap the posts with my clumsy fingers is rough!
If you think that's bad, try the IGO-S, the 15mm version. :) In my opinion they are better for testing eliquid than a dual-coil dripper would be -- only one wick to swap.
