Cheaper E Cigarettes

Hi Guys

I have been using Skycigs for nearly a month and have not smoked any cigarettes for about 3 weeks, but I use a lot of refills and its costing a lot of money. I think there really good but just started looking at forums and everyone says skycig is a rip off. Is there anything like skycig thats cheaper? I know there lots of different types of e cigarettes but I don't want anything complicated or too big.

Cheers

Mark the Spark...what you have been using is called a cig a like here on the forums. Many people start vapeing using them but few stay with them because of the expense and short battery life. I know you said you didn't want anything too big but your best bet would be to upgrade to a eGo/Evod type and a few juices you may like Kanger Evod Starter Kit is a very good starter set and a good price to boot

I would suggest you spend a bit more and get this however Kanger Mini Protank 2 Starter Kit -VV
as it comes with 2 protank mini's that allow you to vape any juice without worries of cracking a tank

If you must have a "cig-alike" there are some highly rated ones you can put your own juice in. Here's GrimmGreen's review of Smokeless Image's Volt:

But I would strongly recommend against a cig-alike. There's better, more satisfying equipment. I would recommend something along the lines of an Evod starter kit or Mini Protank starter kit. (I realize you're in the UK, I'm just providing the links so you can see what I'm talking about.) These are not complicated. Others will have good starter recommendations as well.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on your 3 weeks smoke free. I wish I could help you, but I do not know anything about what you are using.

There are lots of different types of pvs to choose from. I am not familiar with what is available to you in the UK so I am going to point you to the UK Forum. For you to be able to post and ask your questions there, where you may get quicker help, you need to post 5 times here. So reply back to me and then you can make another post here and tell what juices you are using and like. You can look in UK forum now but not post until you have the 5 posts here.

This should give you a good start to see what may be available to you.

Hello Mark and welcome!

I agree with all the posts above. If you have to have a cigalike, get an eGo-class battery. :p

Seriously, you already own a cigalike model--you can always get some juice to refill your cartomizers to save money. But don't get another one... It won't be any better. Ego batteries are just a tad fatter than the cigalikes (think Sharpie marker) and last 4 or 5 times as long. And they give you endless choices of different heads--from cartomizers, carto tanks, clearomizers etc...

Head on over to the library, 6 part walkthru on the new stuff available to vapers, ranging from the cigalikes to very powerful and versatile Advanced Personal Vapers (APV's) this will get you at least familiar with what is out today even though it's alot like computers, by the time you get your new rig in...something bigger and better comes along

P.S. You ask "what should I get" and get 10,000 answers...do your homework and if you can find some local shops but before you plunk down your hard earned cash, know what you want to get...just like used car salesmen, they are there to sell stuff and make profit...some do know thier equipment, some don't, but they ALL want you to put the green on the counter ;)

Skycig is a rip off. (Although E-Lites hold the ultimate prize for expensive refills).

It's a pity you never came back.

Love reading all this info on ecigs. I moved across country and don't know anyone else here, who vapes :-( It's hard to get up to date info on whats the best ecig's etc. Right now I am using eGo-C Twist with the 1000 size battery. Also using Boge Cartomizers. Can't stand the tanks, for this, Yuck! It gives a constant burnt taste and makes it impossible to taste the actual juice. If anyone out here has any good pointers for a great long life battery set-up with good throat hit and vapor, please let me know :) :) I appreciate you, Thank You!!

If you absolutely HAVE to have a cigalike, try the https://www.fasttech.com/search?510-X 400mAh. My hubby will vape nothing but cigalikes, so this is comparable to the eGo 450mAh [battery size and longer vape time than what you are currently using], without the thickness. They take a few weeks to ship, but as I said my hubby adores them.

Halo makes mini tanks for their cigalike batteries that are easy to fill and hit great. they didnt work for me, but if you have succeeded this far with a prefill and a cigalike battery, you have come farther than i did. those mini clearomizers were cheap and easy to refill. they should work with your current battery setup

I think I would be ok with a bigger battery, but dont want the hassle of refilling the refills. Are there any cheap pre filled refills for the bigger batteries?

If you 100% do not want to fill, then here is the best answer. These will fit a battery the size of a ... or a cucumber if it's got a 510 thread.

www.ecigscrewdriver.com The Home of an E Smoking Icon - Hosted by CaveCom

£1.25 each PLUS more liquid.

A couple of these would help tidy up the appearance.
