I don't usually vape this low, but from time to time, I like to chase clouds. I'm normally an all day kayfun user at 14-18 watts. I just got a mechanical box mod that runs 2 18650's in parallel. I built a dual coil that meters out to .26 ohms. Here are my stats:

Voltage: 4.2 at most
Current: 16 amps
Resistance: .26
Power: 68 watts

Does this mean that my batteries are taxed by 8 amps each?

Lowest I've gone before is about .4 ohms

Thanks, STUMP

If you haven't tried it yet, grab some Nichrome 80 wire for that mod. It works great with mech/unregulated mods. It's lower resistance, so check your math when you build with it. It heats up faster, cools down faster, and is a little easier on the batteries. I use 24G. Dual 7 wrap coils @ 3mm ID will get you right at .25 ohms. Open up the airflow and it makes huge clouds at 35 - 50W depending on how hot you like it.
