I am not sure about that particular device, but you might be on to something here...

So far the best way I have seen ( sorry no link ) is to use hydrogen peroxide in a boil repeat, boil repeat method. From what I have seen it cleans it really well. Steam might be the same idea sort of but water only. So far I am leaning towards the HHO method as being more effective. I would really like to see a test on this. Thanks for posting.

I wonder if you could use the milk frother from a cappuccino machine. I've already got one. I'll give it a try and report back.

i used the cappuchino machine steamer already, but not with much luck. i will continue trying, maybe after the nexr soda/mozj wash bath. maybe there comes some more crud off.

this machine is a bit expensive, just for an experiment.

well that sucks Kelemvor i was like yeah here it is! how much presure comes from a cappuchino machine? i never used one so I have no idea.. I agree if you can verify that this thing is not going to do much im not going to put it on my x mas list.. $50 can buy me a few attys and some juice..

Anyways I just tried it out on an old 901 atty that still vaped well, but had a nasty taste. I held it under the steam arm for a few minutes. Realigned the discs with a needle, and it seems to have worked well. Nasty taste is gone!

this is so true i have been getting them little starbucks cold double shot's and drink 2 of them .......s every mourning cost me $4.50 every mourning this would pay for its self in under a week.. I like your thinking madeye.. with you I dont even have to think anymore

I actually have the Jewel Jet, it works wonders on my jewelry! I'll have to try it on an old atomizer. The thing gets really hot so I'd probably just use tweezers instead of rubber tubing.

I would have to say that if you get the coffe machine frother... It does serve the purpose and also provides for more than one use to think of it. Mine saves me a lot of money now that I don't spend it on Starbucks majorly inflated pricing but they are way so good. I would also like to say... That my mom has that type of jewelry cleaner and it does get a lot hotter with more rpessure than the frother. I would think it would do a lot faster job.. maybe not any better than what the frother does but I have not spent the money for the steamer because I figure if I use the process with the frother and it works.. why spend more than I have to.

I have a pressurized, hand-held steamer and I did post about using a steamer to clean attys with no response. I'm glad it worked for you guys and i'll be sure to try it on any burnt-tasting attys! thanks

You can also just stop by a jewelry repair shop and ask them to shoot it on their steam cleaner - (I used to have one in my gold casting shop).

I am new to the vaping. So far only 5 days and already ordered the 601 pipe . I like these ideas. I am a scientific kind of guy and I will try these approaches and give you guys my findings. I am sure I will come up with some real solutions.

just buy a portable hand held one and use some pliers to hold the atomizer up against the nozzle for a minuite or two.

works better then anything else i've tried.

Have anyone tried Water Pik? It works fine for me but they hit really hard on some wicks and may destroy them after many cleanings.
