checkin a atty with meter!

Can anybody help me check some attys? i have a meter i just dont know the correct setting and adjusting the meter i pick up on stuff fast so it should be easy to coach me through please PM me if can can help!!!! Thanks

set it to ohms or the upside down horseshoe .........to the lowest setting and touch the positive to the center pole of the atty and negative to the outer threads..........you are hoping for something close to 3-3,5 depending on your model
