What does it mean when a voltage meter doesn't light up while underload? I was doing some voltage drop testing on my mods and when I tried it on my King mod it worked fine without load, but once i put the atty on and fire, the meter doesn't work. The atty is still being fired at this point but nothing seems to be lighting up on the meter. i tried the same attys on another mod and the meter worked perfectly fine.

Can anyone tell me what is the problem?

EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm testing MECHANICAL MODS with a TWIST ON VOLTAGE METER.

A description of how you've hooked it up and what you're trying to measure would be useful. Not sure what you mean by "doesn't light up?" Reads 0.0?

I'm testing voltage drop on my mods and attys. What i mean by doesn't light up is exactly what i meant by it. No numbers no lights, as if the voltage meter isnt working. It's a twist on voltage meter that goes between the mod and the atty. One that test the battery voltage then you twist on the atty to check how much the voltage dropped.

Then it makes no sense, it must work... Something is defective, probably the twist-on meter. Possibly too much amperage flowing thru it?

I really have no idea, but the thing is my King mod is suppose to be a really great hitter and everyone else seems to say so. But for some reason my king mod hits like a little 5 yr old girl. I was wondering if it has something to do with the mod itself. And yes it is an Authentic mod and not a clone.

Supposedly the clone has a better voltage drop than the original. Just for clarification matters.

I have heard that and i went ahead and ordered a clone fron FT to see it for myself lol. The problem is that my k100 hits harder than the King and according to people who own both device the king should hit harder than the k100.

If you're talking about the one's that are built into a tank, it will depend what type of voltmeter they used. The cheap ones will only read down to 3 or 3.2V, so if you get below that it will go blank, the more expensive ones will read between .5V up to about 24V.

It's the ones where you twist on mech mods. It does go low and that is not the issue im experiencing. Simply put, Im testing voltage drop on a few mech mods with the same few attys and only the King mod is not responding under load while the other mods work. So I think its probably not my twist on meter.

What volts is it reading without load? Battery is in correctly?

Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk

Its reading 4.1ish. And yes the battery is in correctly. Its been doing that for a while, and i have tested it for a while, probably about 2 weeks or so, I've just been lazy and didn't ask for help lol. I even tried different batteries but still no luck.
