Chewing gum while Vaping?

I chew gum alot. I've heard the horror stories of chewing gum while smoking, getting chemicals stuck in your chewing gum and then contracting mouth cancer. Is it dangerous to vape while chewing gum at the same time?

I wouldn't think so. The only thing in the vapor that could potentially be harmful would be the nicotine I'd guess. And they sell nicotine gum OTC so...

I've never heard smoking while chewing gum is bad either. I'd be surprised if there were ever studies done on it.

Yeah, I think it's an old wives tale. I should be okay chewing and vaping.

Just be careful not to inhale the gum along with the vapor.

After about 3 or 4 dental crowns I quit chewing gum cold turkey.

I haven't heard anything about chewing gum while smoking. And I've been around a while. Now, swallowing gum....thats a different story. But, that turns out to be just an old wives tale too. I guess now days we would call it an urban myth.

That's a good thing - I probably swallow 3-4 sticks of Big Red gum a day... I think I'd be dead by now if it were bad for you!!!

What would be the difference in chewing gum while vaping and just vaping. The same amount of nicotine is inhaled.

Sometimes its hard to chew gum and walk at the same time. I think that gum might get in the way while vaping. And also there is the possibility of inhaling the gum. That could cause problems.

Hmmm, I don't know about banning it. Lets just tax it. Say one dollar a pack. The tax money would go to pay for dental services.

Some times I try different gums/mints while vaping to see what is does to the flavor. So far my favorite is Hawaiian Punch and cinnamon altoids. not sure what the flavor is but it is delicious.

I've heard chewing gum will lead to mouth cancer, I'm pretty sure it's a wives tale. I can't see any harm in chewing while vaping.

The vapor flows freely betwen your teeth already, I don't know why it would matter chewing gum on top of that.
