so , does vaping have any affects on the mouth? I saw on another forum I was reading a post on and someone was saying that vaping is messing with their teeth and causing their gums to receed and that's it's going to lead to oral cancer like you would get from chewing Tabacco or smoking . I thought that that only happened cause of the chemicals . Anyways, what is everyone's input on this topic.

It does dry out your mucus membranes, causing dry mouth and nose, chapped lips. If I had to hazard a guess I would say dehydrated tissues and subpar dental hygiene could lead to oral issues. I have gum disease and my mouth feels overall better since switching to vaping but I have to keep up on my water intake and hygiene routine or my mouth gets too dry and a little uncomfortable.

my gums have improved since I started vaping....

That's what my dentist tells me, too. :)

Nicotine is not a carcinogen. Nor is PG or VG, afaik. Combustion products are/can be. No combustion in vaping.

While many have reported gum changes after quitting smoking, seems it's more the body just needs some time to adjust to not getting frequently dosed with the residue of burned plant matter.
