Meh. I get better performance out of my 5v passthrough.
This.

I'm just happy I got a REO Grand. 3.7, 5, and 6v, juice feeding, built like a tank and fully mechanical. I know Rob has plans for a VV REO as well as a 18490 Mini, or some such blissful combos. I guess an eGo Booster would be cool if all I had was eGo batts, but even then, for $60 you're halfway to a REO lol

More like a third of the way, with the $25 shipping. But you are correct, the eGo booster is wonderful for those with only eGo batteries. It's not so much for the mods that are already out there, which can change their voltages by using different battery configurations.

Still, considering it's a passthrough, I don't why they can't go up to 5V, which is what a USB provides...

Heck, why aren't there any 5V passthroughs? Or am I out of the loop?

There are 5v passthroughs available. I'm not 100% but I think MadVapes carries them. And as stated, genuine Joye eGo's are around the 3.1 - 3.3v. It's only the later eGo lookalikes that entered the market like the Riva SE and so on, that went to 3.7v.

I think the shape is quite ergonomic actually. It looks like something that would fit your palm perfectly when you are sitting around and using it as a pass-through should be used.

These are the numbers for the Ego Bats.

Where will the energy come from. Most USB conectors give out only 500 Mah, but there is much more needed to run a Atty/Carto.
