learned lots in the last 6 months, my first 6 months, went from the simple ecig kit.to my first mod (Madvapes 3.7) and its awsome! I got my first mod to help me vape my dcc's I love so much! Im down with the latest crazy to get the duel coil tank mod, and I'm getting it. Now I'm ready for my first vv to help me stay at that sweet spot, 4.0-4.5volts. I am sticking with the Madvapes, either the white 3AA vv or the NEW 3AA vv with built in volt meter.
My question is, should I get a vv with meter or order a separate volt meter. Either way I know I need a meter, but what are the pros and cons of with or without meter built in?
Please help cause I want to complete my order asap!

I have a couple of their meters. And, I have the no-built-in-meter VV box from them. If the one with the meter built in would have been available when i got mine, I would have bought it instead.

I think having the meter built in would be handy. As the wheel breaks in, it gets easier to turn and I've accidentally changed voltage putting it in and taking it out of my pocket. It would be faster and easier to set back to the whatever voltage I want to use if the voltage was displayed right on the unit.

Go with the one with the built-in meter as the less stuff you have to carry around with you, the better. I have 2 of their older VV box mods without the meter and they both work great. I would recommend running IMR 14500 batteries in their box mods because these batteries are shorter than protected Li-ion batteries (which tend to fit too tightly in that mod). I use AW IMR 14500s in mine and both mods work like a champ and are equally weathering the test of time.

Thanks for your input, now Im on waiting list for metered vv, ordered standard vv for now, can't beat their prices!

Actually, I've got the 2AA box mod from Madvapes and my Trustfire 14500 fit nicely. But I've heard the imr's are better for dcc.

Who needs a meter? Just dial til you find your sweet-spot, then vape-on. Numbers don't matter to the carto or nicquid when they hit your tongue.

I've built a few VVs with madvape's circuit and I found the general setting areas of the pot with a multimeter. After that, it's just dial hotter or cooler depending on circumstances.
