Christmas around the corner

Goodbye Thanksgiving and hello Christmas. Although I cannot tolerate Christmas music, rude people at the stores and the weather, I must say that I still love Christmas. My son and I got our two trees up... The main one and the one for his room. Still more decorations to go, but still trying to find the time 2 get them up. I am hoping that the bosses will surprise me with a couple roundtrip tickets to warmth this year lol... Ahhh wishful thinking Michelle!

I am not a christmas person. I haven't started shopping and my son will be 5 just days before christmas (haven't shopped for his birthday yet either, oops!) I am a procrastinator of the highest order

I am thinking Saturday we will put our tree up. Was going to last weekend but my 2 monsters would not get along at all, so it was post poned. Hope this weekend goes a little smoother!

Haha I know it. I go to the store to pick something up, think about getting gifts and just get what I need and tell myself that I'll do it tomorrow. Decorations r as far as I have gotten lol. My son is 8 and told me that he knows Santa is not real. Guess I gotta step my game up this yr, bc I can't blame the gifts he doesn't like on Santa.
Hopefully, this weekend does go better for u. I only have one child, so things r a lot easier for me.

Last year my oldest was 9, and telling anyone who would listen that santa wasn't real...including his then 3 year old brother, his 2 year old buddy and the 2 year old's 7 year old brother who is mildly autistic. OMG I was sooooo mad at Dylan!! I told him he could believe whatever he wanted but he did not need to shove his opinions onto anyone else...and if he told another person that, I would take all his toys away. Yes, I am mean but this kid has NO brain to mouth filter whatsoever!

My boys are 10 and 4 (5 on the 22nd!! EEK!) Boys are so much fun but can be so much work!

Lol I had to make sure that my son knew that he wasn't allowed to go telling kids that he wasn't real. I told him that he didn't have to worry about Santa watching anymore, but I am and I have no problem saving a few extra dollars during the holidays.

Pigskin, when I find out, I will let u guys know. The weather has actually been quite nice in Ohio. Well, I take that back. It was rainy, but nice earlier. It hit nighttime n the wind got ridiculous. Now it's freezing.

haha yeah but for mid-decemeber we been hella lucky! my parents live in MI and i geuss they have seen over 9" in a day already... glad i moved to ohio! lol i swear i belong in the tropics.. i hibernate in the winter.... lol

Detroit...not to brag...but here in Columbus he have just rain today. Rain > snow any day.

Way off topic Side note: I remember learning in my meteorology class that Ohio has more rain than Seattle.
