I sent a PM to a couple of people over here that I should not have sent when I did. I did it before I did my research and I'm afraid I made a terrible mistake.

Here is what I have posted in the PIF section. I think it explains it all.

Ok, here it is

I owe Christopher an apology. The information I received was mixed up and misinterpreted. I was wrong to accuse him before I double checked my fact. For that, Christopher, I apologize to you and your family.

This thread is still going to remain closed, first, because it is tainted now with my accusations that were erroneous and second, right now Christopher and his family have received or will receive enough supplies to get the thru for awhile.

I told Christopher in a PM that if I was wrong, he would get the public apology and a bottle of juice from me from my MFS stash. He has graciously offered to donate it to a contest about when the baby will be born. I will put that up tomorrow.

Christopher, I am very sorry about this. You have taught me a very valuable lesson.

I hope members here will see the error of MY ways and welcome Christopher to the forum. I am really sorry for causing drama when it wasn't needed.

But the doubt crept in, and when I saw that doubt perpetuated elsewhere my hackles came up and I considered not sending the package. Anyway, I think Christopher has shown us that he's a good person and although I won't ever completely trust someone I don't know, I will be sending my gift to help him out.

Please don't let what I did jade you view on others. I was the one in the wrong, not him. With what we do there has to be trust or it just won't work.

Good on ya Jules...I know you have not been feeling well, so let's chalk this up to "My sick-tummy made me do it". I'm pretty sure we all know your heart is in the right place, and this public apology proves that out (well, that, and everything else you do for PIF).

Christopher is getting what he needs, and hopefully understands that this was a simple mix-up primarily fed by naturally cynical beings asking tough questions - not by malice.

We are all only human. We all make mistakes. Using the internet as a form of communication makes it extremely easy to misinterpret things. Don't beat yourself up over it. We live in a dog eat dog world, questioning others intentions has been drilled into our brains at a young age. I applaud you for the way you dealt with this incident. Thanks MaryKay. That means the world to me. I really dropped the ball on this one and it was one hell of a fumble. Chris and I spent quite a bit of time talking and I'm pretty sure we will end up friends in spite of this fiasco that I enabled.
