So I got my Freakshow rda in yesterday and I was kind of surprised that I got better flavor using the chuff-style drip tip compared to a standard 510. I always thought that the chuffs were more for cloud chasers and that smaller drip tips provided a more concentrated flavor, but now my opinion has changed. Now I'm thinking that the wider opening gives the vapor a bigger more direct passage into your mouth and thus better flavor. On a side note, I love the wide bore delrin drip tip on my Mutation X, it's not as big as a chuff DT but it's bigger than any 510, which kind of confirms my new wider is better opinion.
Of course like anything else, it come down to personal opinion and there is no right or wrong answer. I'm just interested in hearing other people's opinion and/or theories on the matter. Thanks.

Whether a widebore mutes or enhances the flavor depends on the atty, the build, and the user's draw pressure. It can go either way. If you're using a regulated device, I'm sure power plays a roll as well.

I recently purchased over the top of the 510 driptips for my derringers. I lost flavor, but I like the feel of the draw. A week later I'm still trying different builds without luck. My flavor builds are usually ace.

I just began the RDA venture, but thus var on my Mutation X v3 with same flavor for all tests I have found:

1) Original V1 Mutation 510 drip ok flavor and vapor
2) Tugboat clone 510 drip, not as much flavor but still good vapor
3) Smok Caterpillar 510 long drip, muted flavor, muted vapor, seems like I have to suck on my old bcc tanks like crazy to get anywhere
4) Wide bore V3 great flavor and vapor both

All were on a Munstro V2 Clone mech mod using a .85 ohm dual coil with 1 line of holes open & all 3 lines open on airflow control.

Just my beginner 0.02 :)
