Cigar extract

Hi everyone! Newbie to diy and was thinking how great it would be to NET from a cigar. I make humidors and have a collection of real nice cigars. I don't smoke them too often anymore because vaping has changed everything!! Love it and everything about it. Anyways, any tips on how to effectively extract the flavor from the tobacco and if I have to worry about lingering nicotine within the extract?

These folks here are doing it... and with great results! I'm gonna give it a go after the holidays, unless the wife wants to get me some unflavored Nicotine for X-mas!

There will indeed be some residual nicotine when extracting tobacco flavors. It typically ends up being 1-3 mg/ml. You can always get a kit to test the amount of nicotine if you are concerned about it - Nicotine Test Kit

I usually vape 12 or 15 mg so that margin won't affect me much. Thanks for your help!!

I extract a cavendish pipe tobacco. It's really easy with some tempered glassware, a couple ingredients and a low heat source. I use a coffee cup warmer plate.
