great idea! I think I will get a cigar tube and knit a cover for it with a long piece of icord and wear it around my neck.
I realize it's pretty unusual for a woman to be a cigar smoker but I'm one of them - or rather used to be in the days before the E-cigs/PV models came out and I bought one the first week of July.
The last cigar I bought was a Dominican brand though the name of it escapes me at the moment. I've been dealing with fall out from the H1N1 flu. I've been fighting the flu, an upper respiratory infection, sinus infection/throat infection, and now infection in both ears w/ middle ear infection as well as yet another sinus infection. It's been a little over 3 months and 3 types of antibiotics for the infections but I can't seem to shake this crud. But I digress....
The cigar I bought came in a nice metal tube with a screw-off lid. The is metal and it seals the holder. I don't think it would be too much trouble to bore a hole in the top of the lid that's big enough to drop a cord or type of lanyard maternal into the hole then tie it off on the inside. This would allow one to conceal a pen-style PV/E-Cig in the cigar holder and still have the option of wearing around the next but without the fear of breaking it. The metal this cigar comes in is a tough metal that doesn't bend easily.
I wish I knew if I kept the last tubing or tossed it but with the infernal vertigo attributed to the inner ear infection makes it almost impossible for me to set out in search of it. I've nearly fallen on my backside and/or walked into doors or walls when I am up and about. The safest place for me is plopped on the couch where I can't hurt myself.
Hope this helps someone. BTW: I bought the cigar in the cigar section called the Smoke
shop at JR
tobacco. They have cigars of all price ranges as well as humidors and other items to keep the cigars fresh. I want to say I spent about $20-30 on the cigar although it's been almost year or a little better ago.
Forgive me if this post is all over the place. These bacterial infections are driving me up the wall! I can't tell difference between the lupus flare symptoms and the infection symptoms. It's all become this gigantic blur of pain and annoyance - so much so that I can barely keep up with the date or what day I am in.
Regards to all...
