I cannot begin to explain how amazed and pleased I am with Cigtechs!
I have always had prompt and efficient dealings with them when ordering online (love their Tatroe accessories). But when I couldn't get my hands on a polished ProVari mini and could no longer wait for Provape to bring them back in stock, I figured I would call the closest B&M that ProVape showed on their "Find a Retailer" page. Cigtechs came up, and their original store is about a half an hour or so from me, so I figured I would call them on the off off off chance they had one in stock.
I spoke to Joe in their Hanover Park store. He told me what I knew was to be the case - they had no polished ProVaris at all. *sigh* I thanked him and resigned myself to go back to stalking Provape.
About 30-40 minutes later my cell phone rang. I didn't recognize the number. It was Joe from Cigtechs calling me back. He said that he had just gone to their new location in Algonquin and, lo and behold! There was my coveted polished ProVari mini in the case! So this is where he went above and beyond.
I had not left my name or number when I called originally, as I figured I would probably be able to nab one from Provape when they became available again. When Joe saw the polished mini in stock in the Algonquin store, he said that he called back to the Hanover Park location and had the employee there look up the numbers on their caller ID, he put two and two together and figured out this was my cell phone. I have never been more thrilled to have someone track down my phone number before!!
When I told him that I couldn't make the round trip drive out that night, he said he would hold it, no problem. He then asked me what location was closer to me (neither one is close, one is far and the other is farther). I told him Hanover Park was better, but I would make the drive to Algonquin. He said that he'd take it with him back to the Hanover Park location so I could pick it up there if that was easier for me (it was!)..
The next day, despite my best laid plans, I could not leave to go pick it up (darn drywaller took his time), so I called Joe again to ask (beg) if he could please hold it for me for one more day. I even offered to give a credit card # over the phone to show that I was serious about coming to get it. He said no, that was OK, it was safely tucked away in the back, and he would hold it another night.
The next day I finally made it out to Cigtechs to pick up my much-desired polished mini and I was very happy to make the drive to do so. I was able to meet Joe and thank him in person. We also had some fun sampling some tasty liquids (picked up two bottles of The Standard while I was at it), and talked about their Tatroe line and a new tank that is soon to be released.
I cannot reccomend Cigtechs enough. I already knew that their online experience was always accurate and super fast shipping, and I really like their Tatroe line. But in this situation, Joe went above and beyond in customer service. I will be forever grateful to him for brining me and my polished mini together. Overall, Cigtechs is now my hands-down absolute favorite vendor, and they have secured this vaper's business 1000%!
