the svd is the better quality out of the two no doubt about that, plus has a few features the vamo doesn't, both are listed as 5amp limit but really closer to 3.5amp limit, svd is taller than the vamo in 18650 mode, not sure about single 18350. but no matter which you get you could get a jwrap!

Yes the SVD is VW also, about explaining the amp limit, i understand it myself but not sure how to explain it.
