Hi

I'm new to ECF and I have heard really good things about this Halo Longhorn ejuice.

Is there any chance I might be able to get a small 1gal. sample of it?

Thanks

I really want Southern Classic to work for me but I just think it doesn't. I find it so interesting, yet simultaneously untasty. I already have the free 10mL from my first order and another one's on its way. I'm currently bathing it in hot kettle water. If I can't make it better, I may have to make a classified for it. I just sent in my verification, just in case. That wouldn't be awful I suppose, but I really want to like it!

Hi all,

I am back since I had been lucky enough to see a thread in the General e-liquid section about the numbers game, Halo was nice enough to offer. And seeing how I did win a sample I wanted to make sure I come in here again to thank Cinder and maybe get a little more information.

I chose Voodoo as the sample. This will be my first experience with Halo and wanted to make sure I give this eliquid and Halo the best effort possible (o nly so many dollars to go around ;) ).

I have seen a few positive reviews on this juice and not too many negative reviews, so I am pretty confident that I will like this juice. To what level is the only question remaining, and is why I'm in here today.

How long should I steep this juice (Voodoo) specifically to get the most out of it? And does this juice actually morph as it steeps? Meaning should it be sampled as it steeps, in order to realize all its various nuances.

Thanks again,
TU

There is a thread for swapping Halo juice, so when you find a flavor you like you can offer to swap your Southern Classic for something else. :)

Tyranny - Thanks for coming back and telling us what you chose. Voodoo is such a new juice and I think we all are still working on it.

Honestly - on the day of delivery I knew this juice needed to steep a little, and I have found all of the Halo juices I use, benefit from the steeping. That said, even though Voodoo is labeled a tobacco, I honestly don't taste it. Initially after two days of steeping, I tried it, and the first flavor I noticed was the deep black currant rounded out with the ever so slight grape/plum (but not sweet). After a few more days the flavors blended a bit more, and I noticed more of the cinnamon, but it is so light and just enough to tickle your taste buds and found the smooth vanilla on the backside. Again, it changes even more after it has steeped longer, it seems the flavors become more melded and there is not so much of this taste and that taste but more like they all are there at once.

I hope you like it, but if not, as someone said there is always the Halo juice swap where perhaps you can find a flavor you do like...

Hmmm sat down and re-visited the sampler pack + the southern classic tonite. And for not wanting to like tobacco flavors, i have to say im impressed. So i wanted to give a little better review of them for those that are wondering. The kid likes most of these too but his favorite is Torque56. I knew it would be. Ive already bought him a big bottle cuz he burned through the sampler.

Now everyones palette is different so please dont take this as the end all beat all of reviews. Always try things for yourself if you are curious. What i love, others may hate and vice versa!!

1. Turkish TOB
Very subtle across the board which i really like. Smooth, medium throat hit with a sweet flavor that i cant put my finger on.

2. Tribeca
I definitely taste the vanilla and caramel on the exhale. Good tobacco flavor, not potent. "creamy" if that makes sense.

3. Voodoo
Sweet, Sweet, Sweet. The plum is much more prominent now. Undertones of the black currants on the exhale. Not so much the grape though. And some vanilla in there but ever so slight. I like it with a good red wine.

4. Midnight Apple
Still cant get behind it. Too perfumy still for my liking. its been a couple weeks and its subsided some. I maybe biased since double apple is my all day all nite juice of choice but im just not liking it. menthol aftertaste maybe part of it. i dunno.

5. Longhorn
Tobacco, flavorful to the point of a mild cigar. Would be good after a steak and some wine or a good stout beer. I didnt like this first time around but i do now.

6. Torque56
Closest to a marlboro ive found(although i havent looked much ;) ) Good tobacco hit to the throat and good flavor on exhale.

7. Prime15
Prime was not as potent as Torque, had some citrus undertones in my opinion which i kind of liked, the kid didnt.

At last but not least
8. Southern Classic
Im gonna let this one steep another week or 2 and come back to it. It tasted like a more stronger cigar with a flavor or 2 i couldnt put my finger on. I want to say southern comfort whisky but im not sure. So back in the steep cabinet it goes. Ill revisit it later.

I hope this helps some of yall lookin for good tobacco flavors cuz Halo definitely has them!!!

Thanks again Halo and Cinder for the great prize package. You guys rock and you will continue to have my business. FYI the kid loves vaping Torque and hasnt had a cig in a couple weeks!!
