Thanks. I have a soft spot for living things that cant help themselves. When I lived in the city I would take pets in from the kill shelter when I could just before they where put down. Was a lot of work nursing some of them back to health and sad when we lost one. Once I went to see a Pit Bull and this lady wanted a bunch of money for it. After seeing the dogs condition I put her in her place. "You have two choices here lady". "I can give you $50 and take the rest of the money to pay the vet bill or I can write your plate number down and call the cops". She took the $50 and I took the dog straight to the vet. That dog didn't make it and her pups also died. That was a hard one.

How heartbreaking

We got our latest from the shelter. Poor thing had rope around her neck they didn't even bother to cut off? And she had never been in a home before, not trained at all. At first I called her too stupid to learn, but once I figured out it was me being stupid and she had never been let in she was easy to train. I have neve seen a dog hitting stairs for the first time, puppies yes, but not a full grown dog. It was kind of funny because she had no idea how to tackle them.

Hamsters and bunnies are awesome.

I have 3 rabbits. I breed them for food though. While some may not like that cause they are so cute and cuddly. They are very healthy and the best meat Ive ever tried. I raise chickens every spring also. But we dont live in the city. Its a homestead. Makes the taxes for the house with the land under $20 a year. No judging

Huh, you get a homestead for farming/raising animals and it lowers your RE Taxes?
