Judging from what I could gather Pompton Plains got hit with a lot of wind and water. Here just outside of Atlantic City where we took a direct hit, we have the least damage of just about anyone. Power is back in our area and we only lost it because of one tree. Only 8 houses here went dark. The footage from our area has been edited to make it look worse. Like the one scene of the boardwalk washed away. It was already partially gone and closed off and it's not near "THE Boardwalk" where the Casinos and all are. It's an inlet area that was exposed. No dunes or anything for protection.
Pompton Plains being closer to NY they might have taken a lot harder hit. We got lucky, but at who's expense?
Hopefully we'll hear from Cinder and the gang sometime tomorrow.

I'm glad to hear you're Ok, Tully... I hate it when the News does that!!
Like when we had a big earthquake here back in 1989... called the Loma-Prieta... but they were all focused on the damage in San Fransisco, even tho the epicenter was 90 miles away, and closer to Santa Cruz (where some friends of mine live)!! Part of the reason was because nobody could get thru to the towns down there... and it was more dramatic with the World Series Game in SF and the Oakland Bay bridge collapsed.
But I will still take my chances here with an earthquake VS a hurricane, even tho we don't have any warning... the damage is more localized and usually not as severe.

Happy Wednesday Halo Nation! We have been without power for the last 2 days and are currently unable to ship out any orders or access our email. Thank you all for being so patient! Thanks everyone! We are current with shipping orders out! The USPS might take a few more days to get all caught up because most of them have been closed since Monday but things here are back on track!
