Clapton Build for KBOX Mini with Griffin 25 RTA on low wattage

I tried searching the forum, unfortunately was not able to find an answer...

I have KBOX mini 75w tc mod, griffin 25 rta, a 26/32g clapton coil, cotton bacon...

No plans on changing mod and sticking with what I have...

What is the best/safest build for these materials wherein I can vape it from 20-40 watts...
Planning to save on battery... but not eliminate the flavor and vapor production...

Any tips experts?

Dual or single coil? how many wraps? diameter of each coil?

Thanks in advance!

Oh i missed... i have a 75w kbox mini tc mod... but it does not matter as i am looking for a build that i can vape on 20-40watts...

Sorry, my fault. I've been out of the game for a while and am not familiar with the wattages of most devices these days. Yeah, so at 20-40W I would go 4 or 5 wrap. How much space is on that build deck? You may want to step down to 2.5mm mandrel.

At 40W or so, the coil isn't heating well. There are a couple of options without raising wattage. Go to a smaller Clapton. 28/34 or so, change materials to Nichrome or SS for the core (if you are adventurous) or try a lower resistance clapton at the wire sizes you are at now. Ultimately, you want to to be able to ramp up the heat faster at your chosen wattage. BTW, what is the resistance of the coil/coils you are using now?

Keep in mind that dual coils will require more power to ramp up as you are heating twice as much wire. With a parallel dual coil setup, the current is splitting equally (because both coils should have the same resistance), and with more wire and this split, the coils are going to take longer to heat up. Nature of the beast. Worth it once you get to where it should be though.

I have a similar setup, I'm using temp control ti wires 24g with a 34g kanthal wrap (Clapton) in running dual coils with 9/10 wraps each. It's .15 ohms and I run it at 440 degrees. I use it at 50w max sometimes it takes a second to ramp but at 70w it Ramps no problem. Maybe you can pull some info from that. I know it's different but maybe you can do more than a single 5 wrapped. Also 70w drains battery but 50 does no and I'm using a 3mm diameter
