Clean cartomizers?

I tried to clean an LR cartomizer, didn't work. I could barley suck through it. Has anybody else tried to clean them?

i clean mine like any other carto. hot water rinse, everclear rinse. dry. fill. haven't had any issues yet.

i had one in my pocket and it made it through a laundry cycle, i don't recommend this method.

sometimes, the little tube in the middle gets blocked, try pushing a paperclip through the hole and wiggling it around. that helps sometimes.

I do the same, it took me a little while to figure this one out, but it works like a champ! I just do it slow and rotate the atomizer until it slips on through....

Paperclip always works good to clear the hole. Also helps getting the heating element centered. Alot of cartos comes with the element bent over to one side inside the carto. I like to get them nice and straight.

A tip I learned right here on ECF. I use Crest Pro Health Mouthwash, the blue kind, to clean my attys and cartos. I soak them for about 20 mins, aggitating them a few times. Then I dump the liquid, fill with water and soak for 5mins, aggitating of course. Then rinse them a few times under the sink. Blow them out and let em dry overnight. They DO have a minty smell afterwards but they do not taste minty. Tastes like a brand new carto.
