Cleaned cartos-now no vapor

I cleaned every last carto that I had. Blow them out and left to dry for several hours. Now when I put liquid in them I am not getting any vapor. If I do a primer vape there is vapor, but if I try to vape there is nothing. I can taste the flavor and feel the heat on the initial draw but nothing else. Yes, the cartos are still damp but I blew them out again before loading the liquid. I have tried several different cartos and batteries with the same result.

Any ideas?

Yup, same thing happened to me. They are still wet and they won't work until they are dry. I blow them out (from the top towards the battery connector) and then set them, battery connector side down, on a paper towel for about 5 min. This lets the water that is left drain down. Then I blow them out again into a paper towel until no more water comes out. Next I place them in an oven proof container (bottom of an Altoid tin or baking dish) in a bed of uncooked rice, battery connector side down. So now they are standing up. Place them in the oven at 200-225 for two hours. They should come out dry. Make sure that the caps are off for the whole procedure.

Thanks springbird for the reply. I figured it had something to do with not being completely dry. Guess I am SOL until tomorrow. Now where are my analogs?

You could use a hair dryer if you have one handy. Much simpler.

Place the carto on its side with something holding the battery end in place...no tips on them. Aim the hair dryer at them and let 'er rip for 5 to 10 mins. Should be good to go at that point!

Really, try the oven. Two hours at 225. I read on a forum post that someone was thinking of putting them in the cloths dryer, didn't think that it was a good idea, but the oven thing really works. Do you have an oven? I haven't tried a hair dryer yet but it does sound plausible and maybe quicker.

I filled a few up today that I had boiled clean on Sunday. Blew the water out after and they have been sitting in my 90 degree apartment drying for a few days and I'm getting the same symptoms. Weird.

When the cartos are completely dry you have to put in alot more juice to get vapor. Learned that the hard way.

the few I tried I filled using the condom fill method til I seen the juice coming out the battery end and let em set for a few hours so I thought they would be good to go.
