Using the Kangertech emow mega starter kit. Evod VV 1600 MaH. 5 adjustable air flow. 2.8 ml tank and 1.8 OHM standard coils being used.

I think its flooding. I don't know, not sure. I hear nothing. It almost sounds or feels like no battery life. But I charged last night. Haven't used the device yet today. I cleaned the tank/drip tip/base last night with water and air dried. Reviewed all pieces and used qtips to get any excess water/oil. Attempting to use new e-juice today. 50VG/50/PG liquid. I got a brand new coil, re-assembled and filled the tank. I gave a few puffs without pressing the button and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes. Attempted the first draw, however, nothing happens. I get no draw, no sound, no popping/fizzing. It sounds like a dead battery... but it charged overnight and the button does light up every time I attempt a draw. All 5 airholes are open on the tank.

I thought perhaps it was a dud coil. I de-assembled and put the coil/base back on the battery and tested it without the tank. It does work. Pops/fizzle then. I re-assemble and same thing. No draw, no hit, no vapor. Nothing.

Is this really a bad coil... or am I flooding it? I did remove the base from the coil and blew up from the drip tip into a paper towel to clear any excess liquid. But still nothing after this too.

The only thing I haven't tried is replacing the coil. I hate to do that since I just opened this coil.

Thank you for your help!

I'm not familiar with that tank but it sounds like your 510 connection isn't making contact with your battery. Is there a way to adjust your 510 pin on your tank. Or maybe the atomizer/coil isn't screwed entirely all the way in and isn't making that connection. Someone will come along that knows that tank and battery combo more than myself. Good luck!

Make sure Air passages are clear.
With Tank OFF Battery, attempt to draw through tank.
If Air flows properly tank is not restricted.
If air flow is tight/blocked you have to find the blockage and correct.

Don't forget to check the main tube for any foreign objects.

Yes coils can be New Defective.

Not entirely sure what's going on here. It's possible that you over-tightened the tank onto the battery device and pressed the 510 connector pin into the body, so now there is no electrical contact to the tank. Try teasing the 510 connector "up" with a metal nail file or mini-screwdriver so it can make contact again.

Sorry, new update - Fixed the gurgling...I think I would really notice if I am getting a burnt taste. I don't think I am, although, I've never had a burnt taste so I can't really compare an experience. I am not getting much flavor though. It's mango and pineapple and I can barely taste the mango. I've been vaping for a week. Was using a different liquid blend last week. Maybe its just the mod and I just need a better device to get more flavor? Or I semi ruined the coil as I've been tinkering for the past hour to get to work?

You will notice if the coil is burnt, I promise. It tastes like vaping a smoldering piece of carpet that's been used as a dog bed for 50 years. If the coil is vaping at all, it probably isn't ruined. You say you can't taste the mango. Does that mean you can taste the pineapple? If so, what you don't like is the juice blend because they didn't put enough mango in it. It doesn't necessarily mean your gear is bad. And yes, more powerful gear makes more flavor (and drinks more juice) because it makes more vapor.

I think you were right that the coil was just flooded.

Yeah must be the blend that I am not crazy about. It definitely doesn't take like the burnt description you provided haha! I'm getting more flavor as the more I am drawing now. But it still feels weak. Perhaps I'll need to try another blend. Gotta find one or several that I enjoy. I don't want to go back to cigarettes.

Fwiw, I DIY my juice. That way I get what I want and can put as much flavor in it as I want. Cheaper, too. I make mine for <5 cents/ml. Of course, it's helpful I like simple flavors; I'm not trying to work out a recipe for mango watermellon chocolate cheesecake with a dash of menthol. I ran out of my ADV yesterday-- I take Cinnamon Red Hot Candy to work-- and made 2 - 4oz bottles in about 30 mins last night. There's a learning curve, but once you get around it, it's not hard to do.

You may have had a little moisture still in the Tank. This will evaporate and pass, but does reduce flavor until then.
Also understand Mango is a very light flavor. The Diy forum is full of comments from those attempting to get in your face Mango and is just doesn't happen. It is a great accent flavor in other combinations.

@suprtrkr Oh I do love your description if what a burnt coil tastes like! Spot on! :)
