Cleaning carmotizers

The main reason I want to clean it is A) I am running short of them and B) I use the XXXXL smok ones at about $3 each. I hate to just throw it away after one use.

I understand, but what do you mean by "after one use"? I get at least a week out of my XL Smoktech cartos, sometimes two. It depends on the juice really.

Oh, right - I didn't realise it was a new carto. Unfortunately, that's just the way it goes sometimes.

tried cleaning once on a old totally wicked slim never worked as good or tasted the same again your better off buying new ones

Yeah the DCTs don't work too well after cleaning, just replace IMO!

No no no no no. Denatured alcohol is extremely poisonous and should never be used to clean your gear. Use pure grain alcohol (such as Everclear) instead.

Denatured alcohol is very very very TOXIC. ¡!!!!!!!!!!

I clean them a couple times before tossing them. I boil them in distilled water 3 Times. Then I put them in the dryer on low for a bit to dry them.
I have found that they don't work as good as a fresh carto, they still work pretty good.
Also, I have not had good luck boiling non punched cartos. I only boil the punched/slotted cartos.
