Cleaning cartomizers

You can boil cartomizers to clean them if you want. I find that they never quite work as well afterwards though. You can get a carto tank for them and you'll find they last longer, they are always kept moist. You CAN change liquids in cartos, but it takes longer for the old flavor to completely go away than with something like dripping on an atty.

If you really want to clean attys and cartos, an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner does the best job. Something lower power, but they work amazingly well.

I haven't used cartomizers in awhile because I'm a dripper. But the truth is where there is a coil there will always be gunked up juice clinging to it. I have vaped cartomizers and tried boiling them and yea, they might work in a pinch if you are like totally out of supplies, but they just aren't the same. But I would say the easiest way is boiling them and letting them set out overnight and let them dry thoroughly. But mainly that is to get rid of a bad flavor moreso than after using it a long time and the coil deep inside has already accumulated too much burnt juice on it. All vaping gear is disposable to some point.

Know what I saw on you tube?...(Don't know anything yet about e-cigs however):

One person (cleaned an atomizer) Applied a 9 volt battery (I think 9 v, look and check into) current to the attomizer while having it submerged in HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. Sort of boiled it clean right there on the table.

CAREFUL / Don't take my advice,....check it out first.........K?

Just realized your other question..."should every liquid have it own atomizer, cartomizer ect..." Well, atomizers are different from cartomizers. Cartomizers hold juice more due to the filler so in that respect, yea, cartomizers should mostly be used with the same juice unless you have a second juice that will blend in it well enough to eventually get rid of the first flavor. As far as atomizers and dripping, that's why I like to drip because you are more flexible in using different flavors and they burn off the coil faster and allow more flavors to be used.

Well, all I know is I buy a decent atomizer for about $9 and it lasts 2-3 weeks. That's a great deal to me and alot cheaper than smoking analogs. Do I really want to start saving even more by hooking batteries to it and submerging it in hydrogren peroxide to save...how much? I dunno. LMAO. It's all disposable, let's face it. Vaping is NOT free. hehe...

Excellent cartos (like Smoktech) are so inexpensive that it's not worth the effort to clean them for re-use.

When using a flavored juice that was mostly PG I could run about 14 ml of juice through them before the taste went south. It pays to never burn these cartos. Now that I'm running unflavored VG juice I'm running well over 20 ml per carto.
