They are not carts. They are cartomizers aka cartos. Some 2-piece ecig companies just call them carts to be less confusing but they are not just carts.

And note - don't use blank cartos to test juices you have bought. You cannot count on cleaning them. if you have Vapor4Life manual then get a DSE901 atty and drip tip and test juices that way.

Search Youtube for Reverse Taryn Spin - that will get out a lot of the juice. My recommendation is stop there and fill it with something compatible.

If you want to attempt cleaning then watch this or search Youtube for cleaning cartomizers or cleaning cartos and try it
YouTube - How to clean cartos

Then you need to dry them and that is the trickier part

I have never done this. Some people are successful and some are not so that is why you should not count on being able to clean them unless YOU have successfully done so already

I did exactly that.
Don't try new juice in a carto you've washed. It won't work as well as a new carto and the taste will be off.
Getting the carto dry inside near the base is the hardest. Put them in the oven at 225 degrees for 90 minutes to 2 hours. Then put them aside for at least a week before trying to use them.
You will have to draw very hard on a washed carto to get it primed.

I have successfully cleaned about 25 cartos with the boiling water/baking for 90min system, with some of them on their 2nd cleaning. Only a couple completely failed after this, and the ones previously filled with a strong cinnamon (Freedomsmoke Fireball) retained some of the old flavor.

1. Remove the caps
2. Place them in a bowl
3. Pour in boiling water from a kettle
4. Agitate with a slotted spoon
5. Pour out the water, and repeat steps 3 and 4, up to 3 times
6. After pouring out the water for the last time, shake the excess water out of each carto.
7. Place cartos on clean cookie sheet
8. Bake in oven at 250 F for an hour to 90 minutes, more if you have a lot of them.
9. Turn off heat and allow to sit in cooling oven overnight

I fill them the next day. Works like a champ.

Cheers,

Otto

thanks, sorry i will remember to use the correct terminology! Cart-O lol . Anyways I boiled about 24 used cartos and dried them out with my makeshift 60ml syringe,(I work in a hospital) works well! Some of the cartos have a remaining odor of the previous flavor, I tossed them. It was a lot of work, some of WOW cartos were somehow ruined in the process, the wick fell apart. Other than that I thank ppl for their help!

Macaprym, it takes about 3 x 15 minute boils to get all the old juice out.

I use an ultra sonic jewelry cleaner that I bought from Harbor Freight. Amazon carries them also. To dry I use a food dehydrator that has the top circulating fan.

Then here's what I do pertaining to the jewelry cleaner:

Get some water almost to boiling.
Sling out as much water/juice out of the cartomizer that you can get out. Do it into a sink.
Rinse under hot water and sling again. Do this a couple times.
Load cartomizers into the jewelry cleaner and add the hot water.
Cycle the jewelry cleaner 4-5 times (3 minutes each).
Drain off the water and refill.
Cycle 2 more times.
Drain water and carefully remove the cartomizers.
Rinse under hot water and sling them again to get as much water out as possible.
Now put them into a food dehydrator and set on high. My dehydrator has a top fan to circulate the air.
Leave for 12 hours.
Refill and vape.
**If you have long cartomizers or jumbo's, drying time will vary.
