This is a silly, easy thing, but...

When I vape, I tend to prefill carts, and when I'm done (especially if I'm out) they just get capped or bottled (for the VX2 carts) and dropped in my bag until I get home. I can also get lazy/busy at home, so I end up with these sticky, almost empty carts.

So cleaning them becomes imperative. Take a small jar with a tight-fitting lid. Cover the carts with water (hot or cold) and add approximately 1 mouthful (the cup-cap works for this) of mouthwash -- we're using one of the blue listerines right now -- and a generous dollop of hydrogen peroxide. Cap the jar and shake until everything foams.

Drain through a mesh colander. Rinse. Dry with cotton swaps or air-dry. Before, I'd take out the wadding material and soak it in ethanol (cheap vodka), then rinse, but I had one cart slip through today. The wadding came out clean and ready to dry and refill.

I tend to stay with just two carts a day and refill as needed. I have one cart for my daytime juice, the other for my nightime flavor. Every couple of days I rinse the cart and filler in hot water and let air dry. About once a week I wash the cart with Lysol cleaner to really disinfect it, give a hot water rinse and air dry. When the cart or filler starts to get a little worn, I replace it.
