Hi all,

Just got my order in of glass bottles. They are cobalt blue with glass dripper lid with the rubber squeezie on top. Im totally new to DIY juice, total ml count for me is just 10 ml, so I am no expert. I do spend a lot of time researching on ECF, but my wife is starting to complain, which means after the first 6 pages of threads out of 21 pages total I still have not found a cleaning glass bottles thread (hoping the thread title will help search engine cut down on all the irrelevant hits for the search term).

How do you clean your bottles? I am thinking of boiling everything, I know the glass bottles and droppers can handle it, what about that rubber top and plastic cap? Do you have experience with this technique?

Please help, I ordered 18 bottles and enough supplies to fill them all at least 5 times, and I would hate to loose a bottle doing an experiment that a fellow vaper has already tried.

Of course, if no one has tried this before, I will be doing the above mentioned experiment and posting results for all of you.

If you can help please post here.

I clean my glass juice bottles the same way I clean every other glass dish and/or bottle in my house. Never had a reason to do anything different or special to my glass juice bottles. I don't boil the rubber/plastic parts but I do give them their own soak in really hot water for a few minutes.

LOL, I got little bottles, I would not be able to fit a regular sized brush in them (the largest is 4 oz if I remember my order right). I didn't think of throwing them in the dish washer because I know it will not clean the dropper and rubber top.

I will boil one bottle and see how it goes, and post results back here. I just got them and there is no telling what type of crap may be in them atm.

Once I have initially sterilized them I think I will be able to use the rinse and soak method.

Ill let you know if I melt the cap lol

I don't think you need to Boil them if the Bottle were purchased New. Warm water and a Non-Detergent Dish Soap should be find to Clean both the Bottle and the Droppers.

As for Brushes, try doing a e-Bay search for “Small Bottle Brush” or “Test Tube Brush”. I got Tons of Listings.
