So i've been trying to save money but not buying too much clearo's. I wanted to know what is the best way to clean out clearo's? I heard using water is bad according to a person who workedat pink spot vapors. Now heres the thing I've never used the same clearo for move than a week nor did I use more than a 6ml bottle so its not super dirty. Before I cleaned clearo's with water and it worked But what I want to know is that how to I completely get rid of the flavor that was in the clearo before? Its not a lot of the old flavor but I sometimes taste it with the new flavor I put in.

I hope you guys know what im trying to say lol.

Depending on how strong the previous flavor was and how different it is from what you are changing, you may have some residual flavor for half a fill or so. I use vision ego clearos (stardusts) and do light cleanings with hot tap water, shake and repeat a half dozen times or so. If the wick is pretty dark, I'll start with cheap vodka as it dissolves juice better, then follow with hot water. If the juice you are using runs pretty clear, you should be able to get through 15-30 mls or more per clearo with regular cleaning. If it's darker or sugary juice it may be half that. Darker juices also tend to leave more residue on the coil, shortening it's life. If you want to get more ambitious you can search here or on youtube on how to dry burn the coil to extend the life of your clearo too.

The vodka works well for eliminating more of the old flavor. An overnight soak will be even better.

I think hot water is used most often for basic cleaning and as long as you shake it dry I can't see why that would be a problem. Perhaps the person you spoke with is motivated to sell clearos or just has a bigger budget so they throw them away sooner than I would. Good luck!

Hot water just loosens up the old juice more. Once you fill it, any residual water will just become part of the juice. Heck, VG is normally diluted about 15% with water in the first place so it's not too thick. I always use water after vodka since the alcohol will leave a sharp taste.

I'll shake a clearo out after a water cleaning and use it immediately. The first half dozen vapes are weak, then the next get better, then it's back to normal. You should be able to get the thinner and clearer juices to run for a couple weeks on most clearos, sometimes a great one will last for a month. When they start leaking too much out of the connector that's when they are pretty much done.

I rinse out my Clearos with water and let the wick and coil sit in H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) for a few hours then rinse clean. Why H2O2? Because the extra O molecule in H2O2 dissolves non-petrol based organic compounds but yet is harmelss and is water soluble. After letting an atomizer or a coil soak, you can see the gunk floating on top of the H2O2. It's also MUCH cheaper than Vodka!

BTW: H2O2 is also great for blood stains on clothing ;)

Vodka Wutermelon? You waste good Vodka??? I would be too tempted to swig the liquid down after soaking! LOL!

I just take mine apart and put everything in a cup of hot tap water. Once cooled, shake, sit on paper towel to drain more, otherwise, fill and vape... :)

Is it ok to use right after cleaning? I didn't know if that was a good idea. And H2O2 us ok to use for your clearos? never would have thought of that.

H2O2 is water with an extra Oxygen molecule. Very harmless! The best part is it's tasteless! I have noticed one thing: The bottom ring (where you screw the Kanger T3 on to the eGo Battery) oxidizes and turns a shade darker. It's hardly noticeable until you put a new coil assembly next to one that's been cleaned a half dozen times. The internal coil and tube remain the same.
