Cleaning copper mech mods

There is a lot of information out there and everyone does their own thing. What are some tried and true ways that you clean your copper mech mods? Threads/contacts/body? Polish/alcohol/grease/petroleum jelly?

I first take everything apart, then wash with soap and water to get the grease off. Then I take ketchup and dab some on every part and rub it down (you can use toothpaste but ketchup works best for me) then wash all the ketchup off. Then polish every part with some "mothers mag aluminum polish". Then wash everything with soap and water one last time, dry and reassemble. Be careful when you take your first hit, cause it's gonna hit like a freight train lol. Good luck

1. Dip in Tarn-X (walmart).
2. Rinse in water.
3. Dry.
4. Done.
5. Return unused Tarn-X to bottle.

If you want highly polished look, use Never-Dull (walmart).
