Hi folks,

I asked the same question in the veterans section but still waiting for a response. So I decided to ask this to everyone.

I know that you are not supposed to use tap water to dilute your liquids.

But then again, almost every body cleans their cartridges/tanks etc. with tap water (yes I know you also add vodka or vinegar etc.). What if couple of drops stays in the cartridge and you fill it and vape it, is it dangerous?

Thanks in advance!

Although I don't know the answer, I'll happily fill up a tank that I've just rinsed. Does the e-roll not use foam filled cartridges though? that might be less good... although surely not dangerous. ??

Hey D.G.,

I have an eroll as one of my traveling back up devices and the way I clean the atomizer spikes (as I call them) is to dry burn them like I would any other atomizer till they stop smoking. This burns off the gunk that can build up on the coil. To dry burn them I take the spike out and usually pull the silica as well, but I also ruined a few buy doing this at first. Really you don't need to remove the silica at all. You can just dry burn them and then rinse them well with water. After I rinse mine I usually let them dry overnight before replacing them. I've yet to have an issue doing this and I've being doing this with my eroll atomizers for almost a year now. They do burn out over time though. Also I struggled with using the eroll itself to dry burn them and ended up buying and ego-c battery and atomizer for dry burning the spikes. This was much faster and easier than loading the spike and blowing into the other end of the eroll to dry burn them. You can find some good video tutorials on Youtube to help with cleaning eroll atomizers which are the same as those used in the ego-c atomizers.

As for diluting eliquids, you can absolutely use Pure Grain Alcohol or Distilled water in them if they seem too thick for you. I do this with all my VG mixes, both for throat hit (PGA) and to make the liquids a little thinner. I'd be careful not to dilute them too much as it can case your atomizers to flood.
