Cleaning mech mods

what is some of the best polish to use on mods? I have some mods that need a full break down and cleaning and don't want to use just anything on them...even the cheap ones, lol.

Maybe just grab a silver/brass polishing cloth?

I have some wheel polishing stuff that comes with the cotton batting pre-treated with the compound and that seems to be the best, it comes in a little tin and you just pull out how much you want to use and throw it away or re-use it when you are done- just make sure you don't get any in the 510, I don't know how it tastes- and I don't want to know... Can't remember which brand it is, but it's cheap and effective

This will polish any metal up, just use a bit of isopropol alcohol to remove any residue from the electrical contacts. Finish up the threads with a small dab of Nolox.
