Cleaning mini 801?

Been using a couple of the mini stealth 801s on my reo grand and really am enjoying them, but they seem to lose flavor and vapor production, not to mention they get a little hard to draw after about a day and a half of use. Just confirmed that there is a huge difference when I installed a brand new one and was reminded of how awesome they perform rit outta the box.

So my question is, how can I clean these to get them back to optimal performance. With other hybrid attys I simply PGA soak for about an hour, then blow them out an reprime. Does this method work with the 801s?

You can clean and re-use for awhile but sooner or later they need replaced. I've read some dry burn them to burn off the crust that forms on them but I've never tried it.

I know these things aren't meant to last forever, but 2 days? I was hoping maybe a week...

I still have the first one I ever got. I've had Fusions last a day and I've had them last 2 Mo. There is no set rule on cartos and attys but I figure at $8.00 a pack I'm saving on smokes. if I have to use a new carto or atty every few days I'm way ahead. Once you use them for awhile and get to know them you will be better at making them last.

I love the mini 801s and mine go about a month to 6 weeks until I finally put a new one on. I never had one stop working for me either. I don't think it's possible to make one stop working altogether...LOL
