isopropanol will volatilize shortly after applying it, provided that you let it sit for a few minutes before
vaping again. you needn't worry about inhaling any of it. so will ethanol, as in your vodkas.
being in labs everyday, i use whatever organic solvent we have around. i've used etOH, isopropanol, n-octanol, and others. they dissolve the organics (all your carbon deposits left from burnt propylene glycol and glycerin) and after you just rinse them off.
i clean my atomizers once every two weeks. they are rather thirsty after being cleaned, and take quite a few drops for about twenty minutes until they're good to go.
needless to say, wash with solvent, soak, w/e.
rinse with lots of water.
