OK, so I just got a starter kit two days ago, and it was working like a dream until yesterday.

When I was refilling the liquid, I noticed that there is barely any room between the bit you put liquid in and the bit in the middle (I don't know the technical terms), so it seems nearly impossible to refill it without getting liquid into the middle.

Another problem is, the part that connects into the middle bit (the part that heats it up and creates vapour) is absolutely smothered in liquid when I take it apart, which causes liquid to go down into the heating part.

I have tried to clean it out with rolled up kitchen roll, but it seems never ending, and even when it does seem to be all clear, it starts making horrible gurgling and popping noises whenever I heat it up.

I'm not sure what advice I could get for this, I'm just ...... off because I spent £30 on it and it.

Also, I'm sorry for the crap explanation, I'm new to this

Sounds like you are using a CE4 style tank.
Best to keep a 45 degree or greater angle while filling and fill slowly.
Never lay the tank on its side or it will Flood - as you have noted.

To clear:
Remove from battery
Place paper towel/napkin under base
Blow gently through tip
wipe away excess liquid from base area.

Is your battery adjustable or fixed voltage?(turn dial on bottom)

Some PV's are impossible to put the right way all the time. Mine is pretty thin (evod) and if I put it that way, it'll fall down pretty easy by movement around it.
