Cleaning my Riva 510 advice?

Hi. whats the best wat to clean my cartridges and atomizers on the Riva 510? im assuming rinsing the cartridges in very hot water will do the job, but what about the attys? will water damage them? any help welcome. thanks

I like to soak them in vodka overnight, then blow them out good and let them set for a few. Clear anything left over by a couple quick primer burns before using.

You need to get the cart stuffing dry before vaping. That means removing the stuffing and it can be tricky to get it back however it was. I recommend the precut 510 blue stuffing from strictlyejuice.com - cheapest way to try blue foam. It holds its shape and it's easy to rinse out with water and pat totally dry and put back in. On a full fill you can fill the juice cup 1/2 way with juice, insert the stuffing tapered end first, push the foam into the juice to wet it, reposition even with the top edge of the juice cup and top off with 1-3 drops (whatever it needs to look just damp on top)

Attys - some people use hot water, some use alcohol (like pure grain) which dries faster than water. I find hot water seems to do a quicker job of cleaning but takes longer to dry.

I think the high proof vodka dissolves the gunk best - blow out after and as dormouse says if you use water make sure it's dry before firing it up. Squeeze the filler in a paper towel until no more wetness.

...or you could soak the atty in coca-cola over night if you dont have vodka on hand. i looked at those blue foam pieces at stricktly-e-juice and was contemplating buy them but didnt since i didnt want to get them alone. would you have a recommendation on a juice from there by chance as well?

If you use coca-cola, use diet coke. Sugar isn't good for the atomizers.... Crest mouthwash - the no alcohol kind if you have considerations on alcohol is also good.
