I know when get a new atty you'd should wash it off to get rid of machine oils and other chemicals but when ordering and rda that comes wit coils should the allready wicked coils be rinsed too since they touch the atty in the pacage? I'm not really worried since I usually only use the factory sucks for a few days to get my moneys worth then I just rewick with cotton but I wanna make sure I'm not vaping mec oil and stuff when I do use the factory wicks

As the price of wick and wire is so low (just pennies for each build, really) I don't even bother with a factory-installed coil, I just rip 'em out and put my own in

If you're concerned about the presence of machine oils or similar then that's the best course of action. A rinse won't do very well in cleaning out the wick if there is anything already soaked into it :2c:
