These new style auto batts are great, but they falter when juice find its way through the battery and on to the sensor. Symptoms are delayed shutoff after you stop vaping, or not turning on quickly or at all when you draw. If you're out of warranty, you can try cleaning it. I have successfully cleaned one and it working like new again, so instead of tossing it, why not give it a shot? Here is the procedure:

Pry the light end of the batt off with a tiny screwdriver. There are 2 indents on the cover to do this.

The sensor is in the center, laying in a silicone seal. Take a jewler's screwdriver, and pry it up out of the seal, at a point opposite of where the wires are. Be careful not to touch the top or bottom of the sensor, only manipulate it from the side (the side is 2mm thick). Flip it upright, but do NOT let the top of the sensor touch any part of the battery case.

Now that the sensor is out, take a look at the black pad on the sensor bottom, and the silicon seal. Do you see any evidence of juice there? If they look wet, time to clean it. You need some ethanol (I used denatured alcohol), a syringe, and an air compressor (or air can). Using the syringe, spray the alcohol on to the black pad at a very shallow angle. You do not want to hit it straight on, as the sensor has a very fragile diaphragm in it. Do this a couple of times and don't worry where the alcohol is going. Now shoot a couple of syringe-fulls down the center hole of the silicone seal, so it comes out the other end of the battery. You are flushing out all the e-juice that's not supposed to be in there.

Now take the air compressor, at low pressure, and dry the black pad, blowing almost parallel to it. Then blow out the battery from the silicone seal end. Do NOT do it from the threaded end, as the battery itself will come out. Put the sensor back into the seal, and see if it works.
