Do a dry burn then rinse all the crud out with Everclear or something high proof.

The coil should glow red and get nice and hot.... When they're gunked up they don't do that. A dry burn should get most of that stuff off and the alcohol should dissolve it and rinse it away.

I substitute the alcohol with water so you could try that too. But I use compressed air to thoroughly dry them afterward.

After that you'll notice a big increase in vapor production.

Don't use what you cannot eat or drink. Even that sometimes it's not equal to safe vaping.

Use hot tap water and try higping's method available here on this sub-forum.
If it's gone when you vape, it's not something you eat, drink, or inhale.

Not bad advice, but if it isn't there, it won't hurt you.

Isopropyl alcohol is a prime example. Unless you vape an atomizer wet with iso, what isn't there won't harm you.

Thats true. I've used muriatic acid to clean an atty before... and hydrochloric acid isn't something you normally drink.

I'm still alive and I don't have chemical burns in my mouth so I must have did it right. :D

I tried using deit coke, and it did not work very well for me, I don't have any booze around and don't want to get any, and the dry burn method does not seem to work for me either, maybe I waited too long and it has too much "gunk" on it
Any suggestions??? would like to find somthing "non drinking alcohol" to be able to soak it in to eat away the crap and still be safe to vape

How do you rebuild? I am down to one working atty, I sure hope my order comes in tomarrow. Is there any vidios on this rebuilding you speak of?
