Lets see if I can get this to work. Here's link to a youtube video where I learned how to clean mine. Pretty much what Spdrcr456 said.
How To Clean Your Clearomizer - YouTube

Hope it works.

I can cofirm the above method works for me. I have a stardust that has been going for over 5 weeks now. I do the above once or twice a week, I use baccy flavour 80/20ish pg/vg. In fact it's still almost the same as when new. I may have got lucky though as there have been reports of some going bad, very soon.

My method:

Remove mouth piece/drip tip.
Remove silicone cap and tube with tweezers/needle nose pliers. You will now be able to see your coil.
Flush and rinse with water until the clearo has no remaining joose.
Shake out water and dry the exterior, including the connection end.
Pulse dry burn until you see (1) individual red coil wraps with (2) no 'smoke' or (3) sizzling.
Replace cap/tube.
Fill with joose.
Replace MP/DT.
Let sit for a few minutes to soak the wick.
vape your face off!

BTW, when you expose the coil, be prepared to wonder how ya still had any flav.

Hope this helps ya'll.

ETA: I've been using three SDs now for over two months. Still going strong!

Oh yea. Forgot to mention. I take the rubber and little cap off too exposing the coil. before cleaning.

That's the only way to know for sure if da coil is clean! Remember, red, not red and black...
