I just followed the instructions. - Joyetech Manual Download
When I think I'm not getting the vapor I want (Usually after a 10 mil bottle) I do the dry burn. After 30 days I replaced it just to see if I was missing anything. Nope the new one worked just like the old one.

So, I blew out the packing juice, primed it and vaped away... I just love these things. I have the LR BTW.

they are great, but i find myself cleaning on a daily basis, and always adjusting things to stop leaking. i didn't have much issue with the type A, but the type B seems to leak more for me. Dennis has been having me try some things, and i found 1 reason i had a leak which was my fault. so far much better, but i'm still not satisfied, but then again, i'm never satisfied lol

For me, I figured out how to stop the leaking issues with the eGo-C. It is my fault though. I try to use the tank caps for far to long. I got some Joyetech rubber caps from VaporKings and change tanks and caps every morning now. No more leaks. I wash out my tanks and pop on a new cap. Rarely do I get the burnt taste like I was getting with the EGo-T's. Again its my fault when I do get that burnt taste. Try to keep em wet, and do the dry burn when your cap leaks and floods the atomizer. IMO the C's are a 100% improvement over the T's. My second atomizer is still going strong.

To prep, I usually wipe the new atomizer clean with a cloth towel, then add a drop of flavorless (or whatever e-liquid..) and let it wet burn. As someone else mentioned, it's best not to inhale the first few times- you'll be able to tell when you're getting the flavor you want.

To clean, I put it in a bit of 190 proof everclear and let is sit out overnight. The next morning I remove it and let the remaining alcohol on the atty evaporate, and try it like a new atomizer. So far I've found this method works better than a hot water bath, but I haven't tried any of the other methods yet, such as boiling. I'm in ~2 months and haven't found a reason to take one apart. The atomizers seem to hold up well, but I have had to toss a couple of LR attys.

Some people claim to have no problem with 100% VG juices (such as Boba's) but I have had zero luck with this. I might get a couple decent hits, but it usually stops wicking shortly thereafter. Mixing with another juice (CC House Blend as someone mentioned is an excellent idea!) would do the trick, and I've also read you can add a drop or two of distilled water to thin it out- but haven't tried that yet.

New tip: When I'm cleaning a tank cap for the eGo-C I use a tea cup of boiling hot distilled water and let it soak and stir it around a bit. When I take it out HOT I quickly dry it with a paper towel, and put on a warm cap on the tank. Pop it into the atomizer, give it a few twists. The seal of the cap seems to like being warm.
