If the flavors aren't real opposing, I too will often just use what is in there then refill.

But, every once in awhile, I get real ambitious and clean my tanks! Generally, that involves taking them apart, rinsing under hot water, washing, rinsing again then drying. For the coil and wicks I put them in the cheapest vodka I can find and let them soak overnight, then rinse and let dry. I keep a couple of extra coil/wick units just for that purpose.

I still get cravings for the cigs. It's Crazy. I don't know if the old tast of the cig I miss or the "habbit" of lighting it up...Drinking is killing me, first thing I want to grab is a smoke..But I don't I just keep telling myself, You'll stink....lol

Im new to it as well. And I know what your talking about with chain vaping. When I started I simply wasnt getting satisfied with vaping. But I changed tanks and mods along with juice and its much better now. Hang in there im sure it will get easier.

I have 2 protanks and 4 heads. Fish out a clean head from the vodka cup. Rinse and set it aside. Clean everything with hot water (well, as hot as the sink here will get it) and dump the old head in the cup of vodka. Often I'll rinse the drip tip and tank with vodka as well. Then use the head I pulled out of the vodka in the new rig after filling. When I can smell the random juice flavors in the vodka, I change it. Although if I vaped 0 nic, I'd probably drink it.

However, I just blew the coil in one of my pt2 heads so when I start using my own coils and cotton, this routine will probably change. Just like when I get my Kayfun clone.

That all said, my one lone decent poly tank is going to probably get banished to the 'oops' bin as soon as I get more glass. It just is impossible to get completely clean without a long soak in vodka and even then, if I vape something like Krankberry in it, I can smell it forever! And my CE4's, well, we'll see if they get clean. Possibly not, but at $2.95 a pop, they can be banished as well as a 'learning experience'.

tl;dr Swap heads, use one while other is soaking in decent vodka. Clean everything with vodka for drying and lack of flavor. Cheap vodka has a definite (acquired) taste, so I reserve it for drinking. ;)

Ive seen flavor remover on a couple different sites but I dont know how well it works

I've also seen pre-boiled organic cotton balls for 3 for a $1... nearly fell out of my chair laughing so hard!!!

Nearly all of the components of e-juice are water soluble... rinsing in hot water should do the trick. Soaking in vodka will get rid of most of the stronger flavor smells. I've quit using anything with plastic in it due to certain tank cracking flavors.

Flavor remover sounds like snake oil to me...
