Cleaning Stardusts with Vodka..quick question

Hi All...So i've seen several people mention that they soak their Stardusts in vodka as part of the cleaning process, which is not something I have tried yet. I'm still getting a nasty burnt taste even after I clean mine, so I'm thinking of trying to vodka to help alleviate that.

With that said...here is my question (probably a dumb one at that)...I only have flavored vodka in the house right now. Would that also do the trick, or is it probably not a good idea?

Not probably a good idea. I just went out and bought the cheapest, highest proof I could. I'd worry about what was in flavorings that might gunk up the coils rather than helping to clean them.
