Only clean the tank if I've had a really strong flavour in there I did not like (rare) or it starts leaking for no apparent reason (once) or when I notice the glass is starting to get cloudy looking. (very rare)

My drip tips get cleaned pretty much daily the way your mom or grandma would clean food off your face or stick down a rooster tail. More spit! Cheers.

If it is my main ADV tank and using the same juice?
Maybe every 3 months?
I clean the RBA every time I rewick or recoil and the drip tip pretty much daily.
As often as you feel it needs it.
Pretty much my approach.

I also stick a cotton tipped applicator (like a QTip) down the mouthpiece and into the coil about once a week.

I like custards and they seem to leave a residue in my RTAs only after a day. I'm probably the exception, but I change my wick every other day or so and I clean my tank at the same time. I don't take it completely to bits, but I disassemble it to the major individual parts, wash each under tap water and then dry with paper towels. I'm a flavor chaser and I love vaping on clean tanks with new wicks.

After a few months when enough residue builds up on the deck underneath the coil, I remove the coil, clean the deck, and then install a new coil.

As needed! I clean mine when I change coils. Be it one week or three. I tend to clean the outside daily and my drip tips every 3 days or so, depending on how nasty I feel they have gotten.
Other than wiping off the outside with a soft cloth, everything else is rinsed with warm/hot water, a toothbrush is used on any buildup areas (My dark chocolate eliquid tends to build up), run a q-tip through any pip like and tough to get to areas, rinse again and shake off the water. Good to go!!
