So I was wondering, how often do you clean and polish your mods? I do a total breakdown cleaning and polishing of my copper mod once a week and my stainless steel and brass about every 2 weeks. Am I just OCD.or are there others like me lol? I currently use cape cod cloths on the brass and copper and blue magic on the SS.

I love the patina on my copper mod. But im one of the unlucky people that turn green after handling copper. So I have to keep it cleaned.

but thats a little off topic. I was talking about cleaning the contacts, threads, firing pins...youknow, things that need to stay clean. Not necessarily for cosmetic reasons.

Seems like a good idea to do it one a week to me. If you wait too long the firing pin especially can be hard to get back into shape. so about one week, easy fast cleaning.
Can't be bothered to polish the externals of my brass mods that often though, and i'm not a fan of patina. It's just discouraging how fast the thing corrodes after a cleaning. I think i'm not buying more brass or copper mods.
